Three days a week for two hours a day I helped a teacher in a second grade classroom with daily activities; led children in classroom activities, mentored children in a one on one basis or small groups, ran errands, graded papers, and just helped to maintain an orderly classroom environment, this was part of my high school curriculum to help prepare for a career in Early Childhood Education.

I worked in the daycare setting where I was the After School Program lead teacher. I also helped out in the other rooms of the daycare, 1 years, 2 years, and the Preschool Class when they needed me too but most of the time I was the leader of the after school program. I was there to plan a curriculum and to keep the kids busy during the after school care hours. I helped with homework and provided a healthy snack in accordance with state bright from the start regulations.

Worked with children in an after school daycare setting. Participated with the children in games and arts and crafts. Provided a nutritious snack daily according to Bright From the Start Regulations. Also helped the kids with homework and tutored if necessary. I was also responsible for helping plan a curriculum with activities to keep the kids busy.
