I am different from my classmates in many different ways. Not
only do they differ in their interests but they also are different in culture. This impacts me as a future teacher by knowing
that I may not have all students that value the same things as I do and will be from different cultures than I am from. They
may have different religious backgrounds that will make them value totally different things than I do. Using this knowledge
I can promote democracy in my classroom by realizing that all of the kids will be different and then I can embrace different
cultures.
